Located right in the heart of Jefferson City, Play Local is not your typical playroom. It’s a thoughtfully designed space where children can explore, imagine, and learn through hands-on play—all while parents enjoy a chance to relax, connect, or even get a little work done. In addition to the playroom, Play Local is starting a monthly Book Club for parents, will have a weekly story time and will have special holiday events - like an Easter Play that will include Easter-themed activities and pictures with the Easter Bunny!

Behind Play Local is a local mom and businesswoman who heard the calls from Jefferson City families and decided to bring this long-awaited dream to life. Her vision? A space where kids could play freely and safely, while parents had a place to unwind, recharge, and connect with other adults.
The facility includes a reception area perfect for catching up or relaxing, and a cozy café space in the back—offering free coffee for adults and a variety of snacks for purchase.
Parties, Memberships, and More
Play Local is also the perfect spot for birthday parties and special events. Whether you’re looking for an indoor celebration spot or just a place to gather with friends, they’ve got the space and setup to make it memorable.
Admission is per child with discounts for additional children, and families can also choose to join with a monthly membership for unlimited fun.
